Ancient Temples of Thailand

The great temples of Thailand date to 1350.  The temples, or "wats" as they are called, have functioned as religious centers for hundred of years.  Even though many have fallen into ruin, they remain the sites for much activity today.

Services continue following the traditions of Buddhism.

Right, a youth prepared to become a priest in a monastery that cares for orphans.
